Went out for a drive after I finished washing and waxing the truck. Stopped at the local gas station/liquor store and decided to fill up while I was there. Haven't seen this in a long time.

That's a 30 cents a gallon drop since yesterday. Saved myself $6.50 by being too lazy to get the tank filled yesterday.

I was actually on the other side of the pump. Filled the tank, almost 22 gallons.

I was excited to see 3.29 in Anacortes the other day. I'd be ecstatic to see it below $3.

I bet a lot of those people that bought Dodges with that $2.99 gas guarantee are feeling stupid now, huh?

Because of the gas price, or because they bought a Dodge?

What?? Mort was in Anacortes and you did'nt stop by the shop and say HII know you were close if you saw that price......like just across the street.Oh well maybe next time.
I'm hoping the price goes down some more too....I mean crap, the damn refinery is just down the road....we keep trying to figure out why they can't just pump gas right down to the station instead of trucking it all the way to Texas??Really stupid seeing how Texas has it's own refinerys down there?

We paid $2.92 here in north Texas for regular unleaded on Thursday. It's been dropping 5 to 10 cents daily here for the last couple of weeks.

There are some places around the Lakes Region in NH that have been at $2.99 for about a week. For some reason, gas is always cheaper up here by about $0.20/gal than in the southern part of the state.

I put $60 in my f-150 yesterday and filled it up! I haven't been able to do that in a long time. Gas in Toledo, OH was $2.78 per gallon yesterday, now if diesel would do the same.

Still waiting for the heating oil prices to drop down some as well. I've got about half a tank left over from last year. We were hoping the house got sold before we needed to buy more.

Picked up a ton of pellets for the pellet stove last week. $315.00/ton vs $237.00/ton last year.

Oil fell below $70/ barrel today. Prices ought to keep dropping.

I am still shocked at how fast the prices have fallen, just a couple months ago a barrel of oil was twice the price it is today. Insane. I passed a Fred Meyer gas station tuesday evening that was at $2.99/gal, then a mile up the road passed a Cenex that was $3.59/gal. The price differances are unreal.

I would love to see gas under $2.00/gal

There's a Chevron station in DuPont that only two nights ago had regular at $3.24. The yesterday morning it was $3.15 and as I drove past it last night on the way home it was $3.08.

That's what I call a positive free fall!

Yeah, I had to pick up a truck at Frontier Ford. I thought about stopping in, but we were kinda pressed for time. Next time I will.
