Sled pull yesterday in Quincy, WA.

2 hooks per class, and total distance pulled wins. Truck was a bit short on power (TST fueling box took a sht)...so I din't go up a class. Track turned to fluff by the time the big boys rolled in.

Lots of wheel speed... No movement!

can't even see the rear tires...

Yeah...TST took a SHT on the way out....stalled out the truck twice. Ended up pulling it out.

Standard operating procedure at the sled pulls - hurry up and wait....hahaha.

Some of the competition:

And thanks to Rick (Ethan's dad) for taking awesome photos (and the air compressor)!

Sweet deal! Congrats on winning your class Denny.

It's pretty bad when you've traveled to eastern Washington (Quincy in particular) that you recognize the exact spot where Denny's truck crapped out.

Thanks!

Yeah...you travel too much Tom. Well, there's only two ways to get across the state...

348 Silica Rd NW in outside of Quincy. Silica Rd is the I-90 exit just east of the 'George' exit. Go north about 6 miles to Cave B.

What a great place to enjoy the wine, have a great dinner or even spend the night. It ain't cheap but it's worth the price!

Here's the first pull. You can't tell, but the weight box was already at the top, and I still drug it another 50 feet! There's another video at a different angle...

They apparently lightened the sled, and I chose a lower gear at the same time...so NO wheel speed in this video...

In this last video...you can see that I moved the sled another 50 feet after the weight box was racked at the top!
