I spend a lot of time here at the blog. More than what would be considered normal by some (most). One thing (the only thing, really) about this place that has always seemed a little low end to me is the search feature. Frankly, it kinda sucks!
I post a lot on this site, and sometimes, I can't remember all of the details about those posts (I'm old, sue me). Trying to find those old posts using the sites 'search' feature will very, very rarely help me find what it is I am looking for. Mostly, it just times out and throws up an error message.
Is this something that can be looked into? If you need some examples, I can provide them. It would be nice to be able to easily find some older posts when ones memory only supplies a very limited amount of information on which to search.

OK. Now I have to reply to my own post, since I started this thing.
If you go to a member's profile page and click on 'find all non-archived posts by' whomever, you get one page showing that person's posts, sorted by forum name. For me, that shows about 25 of my recent posts in only 2 forums. There is no way to continue this search. One page is all you get. There is not even a way to select which forums you may be interested in looking through. I only get to see the most recent 25 posts that I have made in some random (alphabetical? or ascii collated?) sequence. This is not at all helpful in trying to find a particular post.
