I, however, was attempting jocularity. You see, General John J. "Black Jack" Pershing, who was one of only two General of the Armies' in history (the other one being George Washington, who received the rank posthumously), retired in 1924 from duty. I was making a humorous observation that you are quite elderly, which obviously in your pre-Alzheimer's condition, you missed.
