| well as most people know mine is completely covered, and I plan on keeping mine until Im old or dead.. and just pass it on and keep it in the family..
so Im not worried about what dealers say about depreciation.. if nothing else, Im not even worried about most hail now..

That's a special case, though. They get excited about vehicles like Elvira and give a huge value on them (and usually take a bath on them when they're sold). We had a 1995 Saleen S351R traded in, gave a lot of money for it, and it sat for a long time. I'm sure they lost money on it.
Sounds like in the case I mentioned, they would've taken a loss, and the manager was trying to underbid him. That way, he'll either A. Say thanks for your time, and leave, or 2. Take the deal, losing some money. Either way, we wouldn't take a loss, which in business, is kind of important. |
