| I'm an XM man. Of course, now they're the same thing, and who knows how that'll work out, but satellite is the shit. There's a hundred billion different stations for songs that you've never heard of, talk, swearing, you name it.
And that Phillips whatever show you were talking about is on XM 152, so after they shuffle everything around after the merger, maybe you'll be able to get it.
And I love how terrestrial radio is pushing HD Radio. I'm sure it has a better sound quality, but anybody wanting that listens to CDs anyway. And it has all the same limitations as regular radio, so after you buy the equipment, what have you gained? |

| | I've paid no attention to HD, almost seems like a gimmick to me. I the "Phillips Phile" is on 152 but that's XM. I am hoping something will click when/if they merge. | |

| | Terrestrial radio sucks ass. I've had Sirius for 3 or 4 years now and never listen to FM. The HD Radio is just a gimmick, great so I can listen to a stupid DJ make fart jokes and play the same censored over-hyped crap 30 times a day, but it's got a better S/N ratio. Yay. | |

| | XM subscriber here. Since moving to Miami, I subscribed because I couldn't handle my choices: 1 country station, 1 rock station, 1 pop station, 1 classic rock and about 100 spanish, rap, reggatone (sp?) channels. And being stuck in traffic for a few hours a day, the 14.00/mon. is worth it. | |

| | I would not have agreed with you 3 mos. ago but now, I totally agree and support you on that decision. It's amazing how coming out of a cave and actually gazing around can change your whole outlook on things isn't it? | |

| i've had Sirius radio in my past 3 cars & even though I don't use it a lot it comes in very handy when traveling. I normally listen to our local sports channel on AM radio.

| | We've got a good AM political talk station here, but that's about it for terrestrial. Even that one pisses me off because they play the same mortgage company commercials all the time. | |
