I have a 2002 F-150 Super Crew Lariat FX4. The poor old truck has a lot of miles on it, but it always cranks on the first try. My problem has gotten worse over time. It started on hot summer day. Turned on the A/C and it started blowing through the dash vents just fine. Then w/o warning, it quit and blew throught the floor vent. Then it would alternate between the Dash vents and Floor vents. After a while , it quit the dash vents and blew through the floor and defroster vents. Now it only blows air through the defoster vents only. I figure I have a vacuum line problem, but not sure where to start looking......... Any suggestions ??? Please help a feller burning up in Texas !!

I know it's an Explorer, but Ford keeps it pretty much the
same when it comes to basic stuff

Thanks for the tip. I'll check that out this evening when I get home and post tomorrow. In the mean time, I found the vent accuator and wired it in a position so that the dash vents are open. Not getting vacum to that switch but have plenty under the hood from motor. Didn't know where to look for the vacum resovoir till know.
Thanks for the help.
