Transformers 2 has been filming here this week and I am really excited to see this movie come out. I didn't even know they were making a sequel until they said they were gonna need a few of my fuel trucks for background clutter. I know a lot folks aren't that in to him or his movies but I have to say that his crew is top notch. (The caterers were great too!) Everyone was really nice and treated us well. The two days they were here they only shot about 5 minutes of the film. I didn't realize how hard it is to make a 2 hour movie. Those people behind the scenes really earn their money. I can't tell you too much about the movie. I can tell you that the new additions in the vehicles are great!!! It's supposed to come out June of next year. Anyone else plan on seeing it?

I was a huge Transformers fan as a kid, and I dug the first movie. It screamed for a sequel, and I'm glad its coming.

I was worried when the first Transformers film came out that it would be just another failed toon to reality film. However I wound up really liking the movie and thought it warranted a definite 2 thumbs up recognition and I'm keeping tabs on #2.

Yeah, but you have to admit, he sends some pretty nice Christmas cards.

He is as abusive as hell. He has a quick trigger and a short fuse. We have a lot of them in the industry.

James Cameron.
Oliver Stone
Michael Mann
John Frankenheimer

It's unfortunate that great talent is so often paired with great ego.

Yes but thankfully we have had some true creative directors with no ego as well. It seems a lot of the newer ones think they are God or King of the World in James Cameron's case

Here are some real directors most of whom I have worked with.
Mike Nichols
Sydney Pollack
Billy Wilder - Great man. Just passed away.
Martin Scorsese
Alfred Hitchcock
Stanley Kubrick
George Cukor
Frank Capra

Loved the first movie and can't wait for the second. I heard that they were done shooting and now they were onto inserting the transformers onto the film. Gonna be tight to come out next spring.

Its only money to get it out on time. LOL If necessary they will hire more cgi crew and divide up the scenes. That is if they want it out that bad.
