This is not easy if you have a 2000 to 2004 Ford. Have it done. There are parts that are going to break that you will have to replace. There is no getting all the parts off without damage. Another great idea from Ford.

i went ahead and had a shop do it, after some research it looked like something that would be a bit more than i would want to deal with. I could A but the window from the junkyard for 150 and spend 30 in diesel to get there plus time off work to go get it then another who knows how much time and what supplies i would need to try it or I could B pay the shop $250 pretty sure i made the best choice. Some guy wanted $475 to do the same job unreal the range in price differences in town

I did mine twice. First time it leaked. I used a 2nd hand 1998 slider.
This one is a 1999 that has the different design. It is a pain in the āss pulling every thing off, including the head liner and most of all cutting out the old sealer. It is best done with the tool which I now own. For $250.00 I would have gladly paid to have it done. They wanted 5 and change here in Windsor.

Just a reminder that we're offering up advice and parts for a thread that was started almost a year ago...

I've done a bit of editing to two the posts in this thread. It seems, after about 1-minute of sleuthing, that Tokmik and Jdizon may just be one and the same person! Why else would two 'Noobs' come here and both post the same URL in their contributions? The fact that they both have the same IP address might also have something to do with the Bull Shit Detector (the ol' BSD!) going off.

...they never give up - and they never learn...

I'm guessing that will be for a F250 and not a F150. If it just so happens to be for a 150 and is solid I may be able to take it off your hands.
