I have a 1973 Ford F100 that I turned into a flat bed mud truck. I took it out last weekend and its a beast, the only problem is I cant steer out there becasue once I get it into over 2' of mud it is way to tough to turn so I am looking to install power steering. Anyone have any ideas, or anything that would help, I guess the first thing is to find something that fits. I am new to the mud and new to trucks and decided to do everything myself, I have changed the front and rear to 411 gear did my own 6" lift tore the bed off and made it a flat bed and tons of other things if anyone could help it'd be great. if its 100% mud truck...just put an orbital valve on it and go full hydro...much more turning power than power steering

Agree.

If it runs on the road at all. Do a redneck ram, same as hydro but still connected to the wheel via a steering box.
