I never liked the Naugahyde tonneau that the previous owner put on the Boss truck I have.

So today I went to Daco in the San Fernando Valley and ordered a Snug Top Hard Tonneau. I sent the gas cover to the company to get an exact match on the yellow paint and Im having them carpet the underside of it.

Im also adding a bed rug and pulling out the plastic bed liner.

So if anyone in Los Angeles wants a free Naugahyde tonneau kit and a bed liner just email me and you can come get it in two weeks. Both are in new condition.

When I did this to Elvira it was 750 dollars for the whole thing installed. This is 1470. Its doubled in 7 years.

Lynn I'll take the bed cover if you have it here in La. If not then we can work something out on shipping.

Dr Speed,
The only thing you might have missed is that I purchased a new beater truck that is VERY YELLOW so I call him Big Bird.

Now you can see why.

Ford Trck Im really not spending a whole lot on Big Bird. About all Im doing is a DVD and sound system. That was about 4000 and this tonneau and bed rug 1400 and an alarm system with remote start. 600
So Im about 6000 and thats pretty much all Im doing. In comparison to Elvira at 160,000 its nothing.

Culater,
Yeah I got that same set up in Elvira 7 years ago and it was 750. Things sure are going up.

Bryan,
The cover is in Los Angeles and still on my truck at the moment. Im back in Los Angeles too as of yesterday. It will come off in a couple of weeks. If you want to pay shipping Ill send it to you.

Big 03250
Yes that is painted to match plus carpet pasted to the underside of the tonneau and the bed rug and thats all installed as well.
But as I said before just 7 years ago you could get all that for 750.

That looks like a stock Ford tonneau, like they put on the Lightnings as an option.

Good quality, for what its worth.

Lynn if you don't mind checking on the shipping and letting me know. I will see if I can swing it. Right now this is a very expensive month for me and next month looks the same.

Ok Bryan,

Ill have to wait until Daco takes it off when they put the hard tonneau on which should be in a couple of weeks when they get the tonneau painted.

Mort,
Yeah it is the one they put on the Lighting. Its very good. Doesnt leak or anything. I just like the look of a hard tonneau better. Plus its a little faster opening and closing the hard tonneau instead of those snap like buttons.
