I downloaded a program called "BitDownload" since it was the first thing that popped up for a Verizon phone program I was looking for....well after installing it I realized it wasn't what I needed and quickly uninstalled it.

Well now I keep getting a bunch of pop-ups...most for adult website type shit and my fiance's mind is wondering wtf I was doing.
I've ran Ad-Aware, Spybot and OfficeScan without any results.

HELP!!!

Try Hijackthis, it usually is where a virus takes over your browser home page and loads sites. I was able to clean up my son PC with it.

I googled "BitDownload" and saw tons of people in my shoes. Glad I'm not the only idiot. That damn thing had shit buried deep in the computer.

I had something similar happen, I just ran a restore from 2 days before and everything was fine.
