Ok, this isn't my truck, but here goes.

The Wife's Mustang looking like crap:

Here it is after just a wash and clay bar treatment:

And finally, after waxing with Adam's Butter Wax:

I ran out of time due to the weather. Still have to finish the wheels, tires and trim, Then, on to the interior. WooHoo!

Mark,

No the paint is in fine condition actually. I fucked up when I backed it into the garage. The right rear fender found a tiny bolt head that was screwed unto my metal shelving and it put a 6 inch scratch down to the metal. No body or metal damage thank god. I didnt hear it or feel it.

I have Elvira and Big Bird in the same garage and it gets a little tight in there. I moved the shelving back another inch and a half and covered the bolt head with duct tape so it wont happen again.

Big Bird is supposed to come out of the paint shop today.

Ahh.

When I was cleaning the truck last week I found several 'mystery' scratches, plus one good sized ding in the rear bumper about 1" diameter and 1/4" deep, right down to the metal. I was able to use Scratch X to cover most of the scratches. Had to sand and touch up that dent in the bumper.

Not even that. Any guy in pair of jeans and a hat could have done it. The bright side is that he's holding the camera properly.
