Hey everyone

Just wanted to say hi, and got a question for you all right away!

Looking at getting some more agressive tires for my truck.
I have Ion style 160 wheels 20x9 on it with Toyo Open Country on it right now.
I love these tires but would like to get a little more aggressive look.

Any good suggestions for a meater tire, with not a lot of road noise?

Welcome to the blog! How about some Toyo M/T's? They look sweet, and are very popular..

BFG Mud Terrains are a tire I've had experience with. We put them on brand new trucks at the dealer I used to work for, with almost zero road noise.

I'm very happy with the toyos that I have on it right now...maybe that would be a good route to go.

If it ever gets nice out here again, I'll get some new pictures of the truck.

You also have the choice of a BFG A/T

Theyre kinda narly for an A/T. I had a set and loved them

I'm running a set of these right now

Kumho Road Venture M/T's
Definitely a tready set of tires

Compared to the Toyos

From within the 'reply' you'll see buttons to the right of the word "Format:". Click the one that says 'Insert Image' when you hover over it. That will set up the image tags for you. Then all you have to do is insert the picture location in between the two tags.

Welcome aboard!

The Kumhos make a good bit of noise going down the road, but not too bad. They have worn a lot in the middle, I have had them at 50psi which is the pressure on the sidewall. I thought maybe dropping them to 45 would soften the ride a little and make them wear better, but they ended up wearing the crap out of the outer tread on the front tires. So back up to 50psi.

As for posting pics, you go to the pic, copy its location, paste it in your post, then highlight what you pasted and there is a button at the top when you post, its the 4th one from the right, that will add the necessary tags....

When you say "Picture location" how do you get that? I copied the address of the picture, and it just shows like my first post?

Sorry, little slow when it comes to stuff like this!

if you are using internet explorer, right click on the image, click properties, then you will see the images locaton. its the part that looks like a web address. highlight and copy it.

if you have firefox, just right click and choose copy image location

Thanks a lot!

Do any of you have alarms in your rides?

This is the one I have...and it rocks...

Hands down...two way paging...the RPS is my favorite feature!

The remote paging system allows someone to knock on your door/window, and it pages you by buzzing your remote!!! It's sweet! And also the ability to unlock your vehicle with a passocode via the RPS is sweet too...

Welcome to the site, I prefer BF Goodrich All-Terrains. But to each his or her own.

I have had outstanding luck with BFG ATs. I've seen them go 100,000 miles, no joke. They aren't the greatest in mud or wet snow, but Armando wouldn't know anything about that anyway

Yah for tires, I need something that will perform halfway decent in the snow, (Live in Wisconsin) in fact it is snowing now....

Now onto the alarm, I know the Viper 7900 alarm I was looking at runs like 300 bucks, but what is an average to get one installed? Do any of you have the feature where you can roll up and down your windows from the remote? or is that one of the add ons that is kind of pointless?

Once again, thank you for all of the welcomes! I can see already that I will get a lot of helpful information here!
