Hi! I've been a member for a little while, but I don't post much. I have more fun lurking!

I'm bored like crap in this little Tx town and was wondering if anybody was doing anything nearby. I love my truck & think it's the best EVER (sorry, that's just the way it is, right?)

I've seen a lot of chicks drivin around in nice trucks, so maybe they hang out somewhere? Or somebody does something around here? Maybe hangin out with their trucks, talkin about BS, drinkin beer?

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

Spread the Truckblog word around town, that'd get stuff going.

Perhaps a membership and the sticker that comes with it?

That's how I found the old site that a bunch of us were on. Almost five years later, I'm still hanging out with these yahoos. You never know.

If you think you are bored, try living in New Hampshire.

Oh yous guys gotta be kiddin me! I grew up in RI the first 17 years of my life... I went on many, many trips to New Hampsire - especially for skiing, snowboarding, camping, just a road trip, or passing thru to Canada. Never boring!

I would much rather be stuck there than here. At least things aren't so far away; my family would be within visiting range, and things wouldn't be so frackin flat and barren! They call these things trees - they're smaller than the bushes in my front yard. Then there's the little bluffs in the distance that every one refers to as mountains. That got me laughing pretty good!

Oh yeah, and I miss water - real, clean, clear water. Take a look on Google at Lake Arrowhead, then compare that to East coast lakes. No offense to Texas, I know they do have a few nice lakes, but up here it's no contest! I also miss being able to drive down to the beach.

Ok now see what you did? You got me complaining and whiny!

I'm thinking of moving to TX. But down south more, possibly around Nacogdoches/Tyler area, somewhere around the Rayburn/Toledo Bend reservoirs. Have you visited that area? And if so, whats it like? You're whining about not being close to your family, hell thats why I'm moving. To get away from family.

I've always wanted a reason to say that.

Well, there's not so much off-road "parks" as there is just a lot of area to off road! WF is about 30 minutes south of the OK border, near Lawton. There's a few lakes with parks that you can go have fun around. Also, 4-wheeling is big around here.
Forget Tyler, go Nacogdoches. I've been thru Tyler and maybe it was only the bad part of town, but it made a bad impression. I also have friends who grew up there and don't want to go back ever. Central and Southern TX is nice. Everyone I've known that has moved to San Antonio loves it - Port Arthur & Nacogdoches, too.

I've been to the Dallas/Fort Worth airport for a layover. So I think I've seen enough of Texas for one lifetime.
