I really think the part of the dash that comes off the main dash will fit in my 02. You know the part that has the sterio in it. The main dash looks the same between two years. The other part I want to know about is will the 06 guage cluster work with the 02 harness or will I have to do a little creative fabing?

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

Nope, the gauge cluster is different. The common parts are the 99-01, 02-04, 05-06.

The 99-01 has a mechanical odometer and trip meter, the 02-04 have a digital one, and the 05-06 uses a CAN type connection.

The shape of the 05-06 dash isn't too different. I bet you can use the 06 Dashboard, and keep the 99-01 gauge cluster.

The other challengle will be getting the HVAC to work.

I think the HVAC will be fine. The only thing I have to worry about is the sterio and how to get that mounted. But should not be a problem.

In fact I just got done using one to cut come 2x12s for a little ramp for shows. I want it higher but I ran out of wood. I had 16' but a third of one of the boards split on me, So I could not go any higher. Once I get a new board Ill mount them on and add a kicker brace on the back side so the ramp wont topple over. I had to make it a easy climb so it wont slide on the ground.
