| I had one on my old truck, and not one problem. It was on a diesel, so I had the guys wire it in so that it fired the truck up after the "wait to start" light went out. It didn't work quite right at first, so they added a capacitor or something for voltage purposes (over my head a bit), and it worked flawlessly the whole time I owned the truck.
It wasn't a full feature thing, just a remote start, but I have nothing bad to say about it. | |

| | I have a viper 7100 (I think) 2 way pager alarm. I have not heard of the other brand, but I love my viper. | |

| | I have a python 2 way paging alarm. It is a nice feature, the only downside is the remotes are easily broken when dogs chew on them and very expensive to replace. Directed Electronics makes most alarms, so python is only one of their brands. | |

| Bought a Code alarm SRT-9000 through Travis at KC Autosound, best pager alarm I have ever had.
I added a digital tilt sensor and an auto-link module which allows me to start the car through my cell phone if the mile range on the transponder is out of range.
