Official press release:
Back in 1988 I started a job at a Mobil station were I was a B mechanic. the shop manager had to be the most impressive tech I had ever met (Paul). I did not stay at that job very long, once I passed my ASE master tests I moved on to another shop with better pay. Paul and I had stayed in touch all those years. He is still one the most impressive techs out there, he is more picky than I am when it comes to attention to detail,.which anyone who knows me that’s pretty hard to do. Why am I telling you guys all this? Well as you guys know 2 years ago I lost the lease on my shop, and I took a job working at someone else shop well that just was not going as planed. We butted heads on issues and I was being forced to compromise my standards of work quality and customer attention that my clients had grown to expect. Paul was off doing other things, custom cabinet work home theater and all sorts of very attention to detail stuff. But his passion for cars was still in his blood . With all his years as a mechanic and race car builder from frames to engines and trans to custom suspension. So he and I got together and designed. Some really cool truck stuff and fabricated proto types and we built some production pieces that we field tested for the past 6 months. Now we have the product, experience, passion and equipment so what’s left to do? so we joined our forces together and again bounced ideas and what we came up with was to re-open Central Jersey Customs as partners. So we found an old warehouse that was available for lease and we will begin the clean up and remodeling this weekend and then move the equipment in shortly there after. The lease is signed the electric has been turned on we are waiting for the gas and phones then the alarm system can be activated and we will be moved in. I know a few of you have appointments with me at the old spot I will be honoring and keeping those appointments. I am very excited to be able to better serve you and have you guys meet Paul. The location is very easy to get to and very accessible from all NJ. hiways. The address is 301 Jersey ave unit 1 New Brunswick, NJ. 08901 th phone number is scheduled to be if all goes right (732) 246-CJC1 (2521) http://www.cjcustoms.com will be updated also in the next few weeks. I just wanted all you guys to know what is going on with Joe.
