I've got some knock off alarm/keyless entry on my Bronco(came with it). Fews months back I noticed the siren wasn't working/chirping.The siren is mounted on my inner fender and was pointed down so I just moved it to point up and vwalla it worked again, every now and then it would wiggle down and stop working so I would move it up again. But now it doesn't chirp or have any sound at all no matter what position, I'm thinking some water got down in it the past few days when it was raining.

Anyone know if I can just buy a new siren? I've looked on Kragen and Pepboys websites and see no luck for just the siren....anyone got one laying around?

I bought a new one direct from Clifford for an alarm on my old '66 Mustang, years ago. I was able to just contact their Customer Service and ask... I think they sold it to me mailorder.

Good idea!

I was just there last weekend and didn't think of that!

While I was there though I bought two 12" subs and a 1000watt amp plus a nice box, the Bronco SLAMS!!!

I'm getting about 11mpg, pretty much stock, minus the exhaust.

Truck only has 80k miles on it (not bad for being 20yrs old) and engine is still very tight, I pretty much floor it every chance I get.

thats not bad for mileage. It's a hell of a lot better than paying 3.78 a gallon for diesel

Gas being $3.15 and filling up a 32 gallon tank isn't pretty.

But then again it's better then filling up my F750 with about 90 gallons of diesel.

Alright...so now I noticed it works when it's cold. i.e. only in the morning and late at night once it's cooled.
