| So is this something i should be worried about:
YOUR ABOUT 4 HOURS AWAY FROM BETTER PERFORMANCE
Electric fans are not recommended for primary diesel engine cooling when the combined gross vehicle weight (CGVW) exceeds 18,000 pounds (truck, trailer and load) I do pull alot of trailers that exceed that weight limit. So will these fans still be adequate?

| I wouldn't put an electric fan on ANY diesel that pulls ANY trailers.
They don't have the mass flow required for proper cooling.
So, don't even thing about it! If you want to increase your power for towing, contact Jody at
www.dptuner.com
And let him know I sent ya.

| | Could you explain to me what the hype is about the DP tuners? what makes them so much better than the rest? Also What other mods would you recommend getting to increase my power for towing? | |

| Mmk, ill take those in to consideration.Thanks. just wish i could afford em now. i think i my turbo is shuttering, not sure if that is the right term. but seems like it is trying to push more boost than it can. So should i upgrade the turbo first to eliminate that?
How do alliant AC code injectors compare to dynomite diesels in your opinion?

| | Just so you know, too many mods to a diesel engine that was not made to hi-perf specs can easily burn up pistons, so lets be careful out there boys. | |

| | actually, a pre 01.5 PSD with forged rods can take quite a bit of abuse. 400 hp is easily doable on the motor without too much stress, but that's about the cap. | |

| I would say just go chip, intake, exhaust, and perhaps a turbo if you want to take it a step further.
I'd go with the Garret GTP38RR, a nice ball bearing turbo that's quick to spool and doesn't stall.
