What brand brake controller do you guys and girls use and/or recommend? There's numerous brands to choose from. I don't know who to go with. I will be towing 1-4 axle trailers. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Teknosha Prodigy. Its digital instead of analog (I don't know why that makes a difference, but it does). We installed them all the time at the dealer I used to work for, and not one complaint.

And yes, it will work for all those axles.

Luckily for me our two big main trucks both had good functioning brake controllers in them when they were purchased. My dad's tends to get a little sticky and jerk at low speeds if I am not careful with the pedal. I have adjusted the strength back and forth and it doesnt seem to help. Mine is always smooth and great! The guy that installed it also put a toggle switch to cut the power too it, which is nice. He also did the same thing for the glow plugs in case of getting stranded in cold weather and having to use either, it's much safer not to heat, don't wanna blow my engine or valves up! I have an older non turbo diesel so it doesn't start as well. I need to get my hands dirty and my back aching though...

Unfortunately I have to change, or add rather, 7 pin flat with auxilary connectors to the 6 pole connectors, as we bought a '32 horse trailer last fall. I have just been using an adapter for now and it works great. No battery charging though...

I dont recall what brand either are. Ford was as usual the leader in making controllers factory, but I think they should have done that a long time before they did.
