1997 4 door Tahoe LT with barn doors, 100,100 original miles(had about 88.5k when I bought it 4years ago). The SUV has all factory options, except CD and rear A/C, it has a clean Carfax report, clear title(will sign over at the time of sale), and a current NC state inspection.

Modifications: Solid front axle/1ton conversion totalling 15" of lift(all suspension, no body lift) ORU SFA conversion hangers/shackles ORU crossover steering with 2? raised nodular iron steering arm 12" Superlift front springs 4" ORD rear shackle flip and 6" ORD HD shackles with greaseable bushings 1" zero rate Add-A-Leafs 11" Carrier rear springs ORU dual shock hoops and Bilstein 5150 14" travel front shocks Bilstein 5125 14" travel rear shocks 18x39.5/16.5" Boggers(less than 2k miles) on 16.5x14" Weld Super Single II's True 2.5" dual exhaust with 40series Flowmaster mufflers and 3x18" stainless tips
The front axle is an '89 D60 high pinion that was cut/turned 15degrees and modified for a dual sump pinion oiling system by Dynatrac. Other modifications are 5.13 R&P(less than 100miles), 1410 u-bolt style pinion yoke, Detroit No-Spin locker(less than 100miles), dual steering stabilizers, 4340 35spline stub axles, finned aluminum diff. cover, and Milemarker Stainless 35spline hubs(less than 100miles). The entire axle was rebuilt from hub-hub at the time of the SFA conversion(90k miles were on the odometer), so the assembly has about 10k miles overall(other than the parts specified above).
The rear axle is a '78 GM 14bolt FF with 5.13 R&P(less than 600miles), TSM disc brake conversion, finned aluminum diff. cover, and a Powertrax No-Slip locker. The same treatment was given to this axle as the front axle. The entire assembly was completely rebuilt from hub to hub at the time of the SFA conversion and has about 10k miles on it(other than the 5.13's).
Transfer case and drive shafts: Converted from the NP243 push button transfer case to a NP241 lever shift with a JB Conversions slip yoke eliminator. The front driveshaft was built by Jesse at High Angle Driveline with a 42degree CV at the case, 1410 at the pinion, and 13" long travel slip. The rear driveshaft was built by Tom Woods and uses a 32degree CV at the case and 1350 at the pinion. The smallest u-joint in the drivetrain is 1ton rated, no corners were cut!
Extras: Braided stainless brake lines front/rear Clifford Matrix RSX 3.5 alarm with 2-way remote, perimeter sensor, remote start, extended range antenna, automated windows, interior siren, and an extra remote. APC clear headlight and turn signal lenses(not installed, but they go with the SUV) Autometer 3 gauge pillar(not installed, but it goes with the SUV) Front windows tinted to match rear windows Kodiak Sidewinder 8" drop electric steps B&M electronic shift improver Speedway anti-sway bar(not currently installed, but it goes with the SUV) New battery and starter
Reason for sale: I love the Tahoe and hate to see it go, but I drive it less than 4k miles/year(basically a summer play toy) and my driveway is starting to look like a parking lot! This truely is a case of "too many toys", so the Tahoe has to go!
The cost to duplicate a build like this on your own vehicle would exceed my asking price. Please do not insult me, or waste your time and mine, with unreasonable offers. I am asking $17,000(see note below), or first reasonable offer. At $17k, you basically get all of the parts needed for a no-corners-cut SFA conversion, all of the labor, AND a FREE '97 Tahoe LT thrown in as an added bonus!
** If the $17,000 asking price is met, then I will deliver the SUV to the nearest shipping location AND cover up to $1,000 of the shipping costs anywhere in the lower 48 states via DAS(Dependable Auto Shippers)! **
I MIGHT consider partial trade + cash for an '01 - '02 S10 crew cab, but would prefer to sell the SUV outright. Serious buyers please email me for more information, or for additional pictures.

| You're too late Jesse, the "wheels" were set in motion when I took out an add at: http://www.autotrader.com Monday morning(about 13photos can be seen there, but I have MANY more). The printed ad came out in today's Hampton Roads edition of Truck Trader magazine.
I've also decided to sell the '91 S10 project. Now I'm really glad I haven't started on it yet! I have a buyer for the S10, but I don't want to let it go until the Tahoe is sold. Once the Tahoe sells, all of the parts that I had for the '91 S10 project are going under an '01 - '02 S10 crew cab.
Well Sherri, it sounds to me like you need to move outta VA and sell your truck!! | | Fordgirl
