It's as cheesy as I could come up with :)

I know there have been all sorts of jokes about me getting into this thing with my towering height and all. But seriously..... I can't figure out a way to get in that feels comfortable. I just climbed in at Starbucks and I felt like I looked really silly climbing up there.

It really does. There is one angle specifically that reminds me of the g-wagen. Only I'm about 1/6th the cost :) and about 1/100th the luxury.

Your rig is looking great, Greg. What else do you have planned? And more importantly, what happened to the puffies? Did you use the winch to corral a latte at Starbucks?

LOL @ Darth Wrangler (not bad, btw)

I definitely need to buy some grab handles and QUICK!

Only other mod I currently have planned is some sydrographics for the dash and doors. Just a few pieces-- black and gray cammo.

How to enter a tall vehicle, a tutorial.

With the driver's door open, face towards the right front corner of the vehicle while standing between the open door and the driver's seat. Place your left hand on the driver's door arm rest. Grab the left hand side of the steering wheel with your right hand. Raise your left foot and place it on the running board just forward of the front edge of the drivers seat. While pulling with your right hand and pushing yourself up with your left hand, raise your right foot and swing it into the cockpit between your left foot and the driver's seat. Bring your right foot down on the floor in front of the right side of the driver's seat. From this position you should easily be able to swing your ass into position over the driver's seat and gently lower said ass into proper position. Lower your ass down to the seat. Bring your your left foot into the cockpit. Don't forget to close the door and buckle up.

The steering wheel is not used to lift yourself up. The left hand on the arm rest is used to push yourself up. The right hand on the steering wheel is used to move yourself laterally into the cockpit.

Nice Rig! I like it . I like the name. It fits the ride Greg.
Hey I'm 5'10" and I feel ackward getting into my jeep sometimes. I know the feeling it's just a weird vehicle to climb in and out of. I suggest getting some roll bar grab handles that hang down. They helped out the situation a bit.

The only time I feel comfortable getting in and out of mine is when the doors are off.

I use my right hand on the steering wheel (been doing it this way for over 20 years so it ain't a rookie move, it just means my truck is still low enough to use the steering wheel)and my right leg goes on the Nerf bar. Then i simply stand up on the Nerf bar, take a look around and then sit down inside the truck.
