After owning the PSD for 16 weeks, at least 6 of which it was in the shop, we finally gave up and picked up a Toyota. It's an 07, black with gray interior, 4x4, double cab Tundra. 5.7L V8, 32 valve, 381 hp @ 5600 rpm. 4.30 gears, 10.5 rear. 3/36k bumper to bumper with a 5/60k drivetrain standard. It's getting its 6" lift with 20's installed. Exhaust and some billet in the grille (thanks Mike for your photo's.

Congrats on the new truck Kris, I think you will really like it. I love the way they have put the 4.30 gears and a 6 spd tranny together, best of both worlds. The lift and tires will be bad ass

That's going to be real nice. My brother just bought one with the big rear seats. That thing is great! Yours with a lift and tires is going to be extreme! Can't wait for photos. TA

Thanks Mike! The other full size trucks just can't touch it unless you get a good diesel.
TA, thanks. I hope so. I can't wait to see it all done.
ford_trck, pics tomorrow evening. The dealer is doing the lift so it's covered under the warranty.
Brandon, this is the story... When we bought the orange and black one we noticed a leak. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the rear main (1 week). Took it back 2 days later for the same leak. They said it was residual oil they hadn't cleaned up. Still leaking a week later, took it into a different dealer for the same leak and now a surging problem that popped up. They had 3 days, changed the EGR and put dye in it. Took it back again for dye check. 3 days later they say its the rear main again but can't get to it...come pick it up. Truck surges again 10 miles from the dealer. Take it back for 3 WEEKS this time. Still couldn't get the oil leak fixed because their lift was taken by another car and they replaced the EBP for the surging/cutting out/etc. Made an appointment back at original dealer for same oil leak. Original dealer takes 1 1/2 weeks to replace oil pump gasket and says they will gladly look at surging issue at my convenience. 2 days after truck is home, notice it is STILL leaking oil from same area. A week and a half later....We own a Toyota!

Congrats on the new ride! I agree, the Tundra is definately a nice truck. The stock shocks need to go (needs more rebound control), but the motor, six speed auto, and chassis is phenominal!

So youtube finally got the video live of the nice hole in the asphalt that appeared under the tires. The electronic throttle has a mind of it's own, but I got 'er figgered out.

Can't wait to see the pics of the Trundra after the lift and the 20's. I've been without a truck for about a year now. But when I see those new Trundras I start thinking about how nice it would be....

Ken - I'm now driving a my first Toyota - an Avalon. I a very impressed with the service at the dealerships. They are far and away above the level of service I used to (not) get from the Ford dealerships. Toyota will be the number 1 manufacturer - it's just a matter of time.

The nearest Toyota Dealer to me is over 1 hr away, when there's 1 closer I'll look at them. I doubt the warrenty will do a few tow that far.
