I am looking into beefing up the suspension on my 1999 1500 ram 4x4. I was thinking about using a set of 2500 springs for the front and 3500 for the rear. Anyone know if this is possible and if so, practical.

What is the reason? Heavy towing?
If you're not going to tow or have a plow or something on it, I'd keep the half ton stuff. It'll kill the ride, and it won't make the differentials any stronger.
If you still want to, I'm not actually sure if they'll bolt up.

Well i am planning on putting a snow plow on it for this winter. I recently hauled about a 1/4 ton of gravel and the rear end of my truck damn near drug the ground! I am not too worried abut the rough ride. I will put some good shocks on it to help absorb some of that. I just want to be able to put the plow on and haul more than 50 pounds and the truck not look like a low rider.
