Well, its a 6x6, but still...

The other day, when I was driving the OshKosh at work, a message flashed on my GPS tracking device: You wanna road trip? Of course, whenever someone asks you that, you always say, "YES!" So I typed that in, and I get another message: Are you sure?

Well, the long and the short of it is, they sent me from Everett to the Stevens Pass Ski Lodge, about a two hour drive. And for a camera phone, I got some pretty cool pictures.

I was pouring the base for a Cantilever Sign (whatever that is) on the side of US-2. Yes, that's a mountain, midwest people.

When I got back to the yard, and cleaned the road trip goo off of it, my parents stopped by and took a few stalking pictures.

So all in all, Friday was the coolest work day I've ever had, period. Too bad the guy that drives that truck is coming back from vacation tomorrow.

That's an incredible pic Mort. The truck's pretty cool too! You don't often see something like coming at ya in traffic - with a phallic symbol right there in the front of it!

Awesome pics mort.
They poured the floor in the bank I'm working on with those. We left one end open so they could drive in to pour from the back and work their way out. On of the drivers caught the wall with his tag axle and tore it right off the foundation! Sucked to be him. Then one of the other guys broke the chain that turns the chute. The thing split and popped right out. Not a good day for them!

Thanks. That Motorola RAZR has a pretty badass camera, I must say, for a 1.3mp.

Mort -

Looks like a fun job. Nice pics and stuff, I'll bet you could get a good job on the side disposing of bodies in some of the cement structures you pour.

Form it up, and I'll be there. Nothing I hate worse than the smell of dead hookers.

How do you get the mint to stay in there until it dissolves?

Greg, no, unfortunately, it wasn't me. Seth, the guy that normally drives that truck, came back from vacation Monday. It was either him or Gary, and Gary doesn't look anything like me.

Or one of the Woodinville guys. I dunno.
