Hey guys, im lookin at installing an electronic exhaust cutout on my truck. i dont want to spend $1000 + on a whole system and i want to daily drive it and still have performance exhaust in the flip of a switch. I've been lookin at race ready performance's cutouts and they look like a quality product, lifetime warranty and all. Does anyone have any experience with these? Any feedback appreciated thanks

I haven't really seen these so I don't know exactly where they break from the stock exhaust.
But look at them carefully. Because if they come off too close to the exhaust manifold you will experience a noticeable loss of torque. They will only produce more Horse Power at the high end of each gear when the RPM's are very high. They might even slow the truck down over the quarter mile as you need back pressure for torque.
So when building an exhaust you want to divide the performance of Torque and HP with a little back pressure.
But if you just want them for sound purposes then they would be pretty cool.
