I've been reading some aftermarket exhaust systems are going bigger with 5" tubing exhaust vs traditional 4" systems. I drive a stock '05 F350 4x4 SRW. My question is this: Other than lowering temps with a greater diameter piping, any other advantages going with a bigger exhaust pipe? Plus, would other upgrades be needed if going with a bigger diameter exhaust tubing such as, turbo, air cooler, injectors and the like? Would a loss in boost pressure be possible even though it is post turbo?
