Mostly to combat gas prices. And also to stop putting so many miles on my truck.
You know, it does sorta look like a toy, but that's a 750ci in-line 4 cylinder engine. It's not a Harley, but it certainly has plenty of HP to getup and go when it needs too. Hell, the damn thing weighes over 400lbs.
So, yeah, for me, it's going to be a commuter mostly, but then again, if I can get her out on the highway every once in awhile, I ain't going to complain. | |

I bought a 1985 Nighthawk S new in '85...
Was a Great Bike!
Back then Harley got the Feds to put a Tariff on Jap Bikes 700cc and larger....so the Nighthawk S was a 699cc.
I still have a Motorcycle Endorsement on the DL...One of these Days
I'll start riding again

Check the link. Usually you can take a class or refresher course and afterwards they will waive the rider portion and give the endorsement but check local and state laws to see. | |
