| | There are 2 things most commonly associated with a Super Duty sticking in 4x4. The first question would be to decide whether or not you are stuck in 4hi or 4lo. If you're stuck in 4lo, then make sure that all of the parameters are met to shift out of 4lo (vehicle at a dead stop, in neutral, foot on brake). If that doesn't work, or you are stuck in 4hi, the most common problem is the vacuum lines. In 4x4 auto, the hubs are applied by vacuum. If those lines are torn off, leak, etc, you will lose that vacuum pressure. This can usually also be tested by adjusting you're cab heat from vent to defrost or floor. The same vacuum is applied to move the blend door for the heater system. As far as the radio, that wouod be a different issue. The cd player and all its controls are internal in the head unit. It must be a stereo problem. Hope it helps. | |
