This past weekend Jason and I covered the CORR event here in San Diego at the new Chula Vista International Raceway -- a track created specifically for this growing sport.
We had a LOT of fun covering this event at this new venue. The next one is coming up at the end of September. We can't wait. It is a much better race course with varying elevations and a 100-foot jump. That's where I was able to capture most of my shots.
Jason spent about 9 hours yesterday working on the video... so please check it out. I'm totally impressed with what he can do in the editing room now... it looks super-professional.
We'd appreciate your feedback, critiques, or even suggestions on ways to improve our coverage. This time we got a good interview at the top of the video, but we didn't have any in-car camera action. For the September event we'll have two in-car cameras (one facing forward and one rear-facing camera), plus at least one more video camera covering the action.
