i am considering a locker for my new 9.75.. i was running an Eaton in my 8.8..but i figure nows the time to upgrade..Can i drive it on the pavement 99% of the time? How will it act? What about corners? Will it break/strain things too much? I thought it would be great for when i plow snow.

Truetracks, if one wheel is on ice/off ground you go nowhere..true? i don't want to have to brake torque it to make it engage...pulling out in traffic in snow how do you do that?

i don't mind the sliding all over...i know how to handle a POSI in the snow..it's much better to deal with a little slide and have 2 wheels push than to be straigth with only 1 pushing...i am worried about the dry times

before I start typing too much, it seems like you're looking for an auto locker...

..are you considering selectable lockers as well? ($$$)

Had a Detroit locker in my 01 F250. That thing was great. It unlocked during turns, and locked when you hit the gas. I plan on a selectible for my 05. Probably an ARB. How much can one switch clutter up your truck anyway?

I plan on installing an on board air system, and thought the ARB would be a nice addition, maybe save a little treadlife

No, I was very pleased with the Detroit, just thought it might be nice to turn it off. Wishing I had it now. This stock LS sucks. That Detroit locker was solid, and reliable
