| I think out of the 3 you mentioned, I like the 180's look the best. I myself have a Flareside and I think a cap looks out of place so I have a Tonneau cover. | |

| I used to sell canopies, the best ones I saw were Carryboy and Snugtop. Leer, even with its good reputation, I had the most trouble with, leaking mostly.
Carryboy had the best style, in my opinion. You could get it with or without a lip-type spoiler, the clamp was an integrated rail, it had a slam shut door with handles on the inside and outside (people camp, you know).
Snugtops are a bit more square in the styling department, and the side sliders are a bit small, but the quality is still top notch. Another plus is availability. Carryboy's parent company is in Thailand (still built in the US, though), and their distribution isn't all over the country. Snugtop you can find pretty much anywhere.
Must-have options:
- Fold down front window: You'll be hating life trying to clean between the back window in your truck and the front canopy window if you don't get this option. Its not very expensive, and its a must-have.
- Carpet liner: keeps it from sweating and keeps noise down
Only get at sliding front window if your truck has a sliding rear window.
If you have dogs: The hot ticket is a Breezer rear window for your truck, and a compression boot on the canopy. The Breezer replaces your rear slider on your truck to a full popout window, and the compression boot eliminates the front window in your canopy so you can have a window-size crawl through for the dogs. Beware, though, the compression boot has been known to rub the paint off the truck and squeak a little, so its a compromise.

| Mort,
I looked at the Carryboy and they are definitely very well built and have great styling, from what I read on there website. The only down fall is am I correct that they only have dealers in CA, OR, and WA??? I hope this isn't so.

| | You may be right. I know their primary plant is in San Diego and they distribute them out of Seattle, but its been a while. You could either have one shipped (money) or make a road trip (money). Personally, if its not a huge amount to ship, it'd be worth the extra money to me. | |
