Spring Kick-Off Camping Trip (Feeler)

Just trying to find out how many people would be interested in an overnight camping trip down in Derby Kansas sometime in the near future.

I'd like to have as many people there as possible due to weather being nice and everything. I've found a really good spot down on the Arkansas River over by Derby Kansas.

The camping area is covered by a canopy of trees. But below the canopy line is a very open and spacious area with a very large fire pit area with 10-15 large tree stump sections standing upright to be used as seating.

There is roughly 10 miles of trailriding available.
Trails range from :

Wide open muddy trails
Sandy trails
Scenic riverside trails
covered trails
tight and twisting ATV trails
Mud runs
river crossings
whoop sections

all of which are available and accessible.

I would like to shoot for mid-april if possible but if that is too soon then post up your suggestion on a date.

The plan is to go out on a Friday or Saturday evening, (few hours before dark) and get everything set up for the night. Set up a grill or 2 and cook some food, drink some beer and just have some fun. Then get up the next morning and go out for some good trailriding and photo ops.

Also, if you have a quad or a dirtbike i highly suggest bringing it! there are literally dozens of trails specifically for ATV's and bikes down there!

I have never had a bad time down there myself and i've been very many times!

I personally will be bringing a chainsaw, machete, a full trail repair toolbox, field repair electrical toolbox, towstraps, logging chain, air compressor / mattress inflator, tent, 50 quart cooler, 35 quart cooler, a bunch of beer, and some brats and steaks.

Oh, and if you guys have a significant other, it's encouraged to bring them! I know my girlfriend will be there and possibly a few others. If everything goes good it's just gonna be a good ole time for everyone to meet, greet, eat, and have alot of fun!
