Just when things were starting to turn around for me this year, I got rearended in the Mustang GT this afternoon right after I left the Ford dealer inwhich I was having my car serviced. I was stopped and hit shall we say, lightly Violently hard and fast, from the sound and force of the impact I was only wondering what was left and not laying on the interstate. I was stopped in congested traffic and this woman in a Saturn SUV decided not to slow, stop, let alone change lanes. I will try and get some photos, but at this time need a new quarter panel, rear bumper, reinforcement, trunk lid, and some other goodies. Time to upgrade, as we all know and do so well. I am sore, like I said I was a sitting duck, UPS in front and trailer in the outer lane, island on the left side. I can not get over the fact the woman was so casual about this ordeal, never said are you okay, need help, nothing. I had to gather my thoughts before I even exited my car.

| | With the fact my parents are out of town and all, I called my boss and he is an attorney, you guys should have seen the look on her face when he pulled up and came up to me and asked how I was. She was like is this your father, I was like no Deana, this is my attorney. I have already filed a claim, we tore down the car last night at the Ford dealership where the work will be done. It is nice to have friends in the right business when needed, and looks like slight quarter wrinkle, bumper, and the reinforcements, exhaust has been move forward, taillight, trunklid, and new stripes. Thanks, I am wondering what her insurance will say considering they had to tow her Saturn away on a flatbed. | |

| | Went up the dealer this afternoon, new axle, new rotors, they have to pull LR frame rail out to lose the wrinkle, new bumer cover, impact bar, marker lamps, you name it. Ad get this, my insurance which is the same as hers will not give me a rental until they have all the parts to begin repairs. They have the car torn down now. |

| | Well, finally settled after all this with the insurance. Let's just say they cut me check and I have no insurance to pay until 2008. I was able to use some of the settlement to cover my insurance, life, home, and mortgage disability as well. I can't believe it took this long, and when we went before the judge for her ticket, she had gotten another accident ticket 2 weeks after the event with me within 5 miles for where she hit me. | |
