i have a ford f-350 dually and would like to go up in tire size. i understand that i will have to space the tires, anyone know anything about that.

i have found 1/2" spacers and 2" spacers with treaded studs.

if i just go up a size or two could i get away with 1/2" spacers? i think the 2" spacers are for some pretty large tires.

What size do you have now and what size do you want to go to? I have a two inch spacer on mine, but I'm running 12.5 wide. When I had the 9.5 wide tires I didn't use one and they barely touched.

i ahve the stock tires on now and was thinking of going up to 33's, and keep the width 9"-10" range. do you think i will need the spacers? sounds like i should be fine.

i like the set-up on your truck. what size lift and tires are those. how does it ride. look awesome.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I really don't think you would need a spacer staying around 9" mark but with a 10" you will need something. I think at 9.5 I was just rubbing on the lower portion of my wheels.

Oh and I have 4" lift with 35/12.50 and 2 inch spacer. It rides like a tank at times, but it's not horrible. I got rid of that drift that duallys are famous for when I put the dual stabilizers up front. I just get tired of trying to fit a 23 foot truck into places made for compact cars.

i've been looking into it, i am really restricted in my options in the width deptment. the 16" rims and the 33's, looks like i will be in the 11" range, so i will have to get the spacers. the size will be 285/75/16. think i'm going to go with bf goodrich all-trrain.

4" i thought that was at least 6". and the dual stabilizers made a difference? i'll look into that.

thanks, brian
