Ryan,

I think Travis is talking Alcoa's Super Single.

http://www.alcoa.com/alcoawheels/north_america/en/product_category.asp?cat_id=893

They call them Wide base wheels (super singles).

Wide base wheels (super singles)

Heavy Duty : Alcoa Round Hand Hole Wheels : Wide base wheels (super singles)

Wide base wheels (super singles)

They only come in a 10 bolt pattern:

10 bolt holes on 285.75mm bolt circle

10 bolt holes on 335mm bolt circle

22.5 is as small as they make em. Already tried getting some to fit smaller diameter rims..

Might be cool on the pickup, but on the semi they suck. The number of sidewalls are cut in half, and these tires tend to flex under heavy (70,000 and 80,000) lb loads.. Yes I have driven a big truck with them installed. The huge advantage is the weight savings..

hi, i am also interested in converting my dual rear wheels into a single. i was hoping to do this without the expensive 22.5's. if i used a deep dish style, so that a wider tire will fit- the issue, i guess, would be the offset of the wheel so the wheel is possitioned correctly under the truck, and a different offset forthe front wheel. you think this would work? what size would be best (width and hight). i am interested in a tire that is on the aggresive side.

thank, brian
