Since it's virtually impossible to determine the width of an image on the fly (short of downloading it first and checking its size which requires a lot of overhead), I've added a new IMG tag to use in posts to control the width. Instead of using the IMG tag just use IMGX (X for Max) and it will restrict the image to 640 pixels wide, max... which will prevent the page from being super-wide on some of the larger images that you might want to link in.

Cool!

I was thikning though that the IMGX tag was to specify that a pic was X-rated, or not work safe, so that people in work-safe mode could actually allow images to load in some cases...

Probably too much of a leap of faith to expect everyone to use a "work-safe" tag appropriately though :)

Yes... in fact I think it's going to be hard enough to get people to use IMGX for what it does :) I've updated the FAQ page as well, so hopefully people will find it.

That was going to be one of my suggestions, but my other suggestion has had no attention so I did not bother.

Although, the picture width is a big pet-peeve of mine and should have been given the attention it deserves by me.

Nice feature. I hate when the page is ten feet wide and you have to scroll for ever.

I'm guilty...but that's cause I can't figure out where the IGMX tag is. I'd prefer not to because this bugs the crap out of me too.

The only format buttons I see are:

B
I
U
S
Align left
Center
Align right
HR - which I've been trying to use, obviously not it.
The Earth with a paperclip looking thing.
An email looking thing
A picture thing
#
Paper with an arrow pointing right
And bullets

What am I missing/not doing right?
