| | I've used them in a few home theater setups I've done, they do work. However I think they're better suited for LFE's in a home theater than as "bass reinforcement" in a vehicle. | |

| | I was at Randy's house for the poker game yesterday (the guy I think you heard about there from over at FTW who put these in his theatre chairs)... Those chairs were bad ass!! They would shake the chairs at any point in the movie where there was sub bass levels. VERY COOL INDEED!! | |

| Bass shakers are generally okay, for re-inforcing the tactile response of a subwoofer, however they generally don't play bass. The best thing I ever heard was something I couldn't belive unitil I heard it. Alpine just came out with a killer subwoofer specifically built for Pick-ups. It is called the Alpine PLT-5, essentially it has a cool new technology that produces a ton of output that you can't get by typical woofers in the same amount of space. It also has their new PDX amp technology built in. Most importantly this ting rocks and Fits behind my standard cab seat. Lot's of bass, I have tried the bass tubes, and crappy basslink thing. I thought after giving up my trunk I would never get real bass again, boy was I wrong. sounds great. I highly reccomend it for anyone wanting Great SPL and SQ in a truck. | |

| $599.99 From Crutchfield, was looking at them in my catalog last month, too rich for me. Now if I did have that kind of cash for stereo equipment, I'd go with the 7's in my van, but it's pretty bass heavy now, no point in trying to improve it. I was wondering about the bass shakers, thought it'd be cool to stick under the rear bench seat, add to the shake from the subs. | |
