alright i currenlty have a jvc, cant remember the model number of it, but i have hated it from day 1, it skips all the time, has no bass adjust and overall is only nice to do the display on it.. what i am looking for is somthing that has a detachable face, a bass adjust, not just a preset equilizer that allows you to select r&b and such.

thanks

I just got a Kenwood excelon DVD915. I'm going to be selling my Panasonic HU that is about 1 year old. It's never skipped, plays CDRW's/MP3s, etc. Has a built-in EQ< bass and treble adjust, sub pre-outs, aux-ins, and a few other nice features.

I'll get the model # off it tomorrow if you're interested. I paid about $180 for it new last year.

Here is a link the my current HU: http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/mdl/CQC5410U/detail.asp

Let me know if you're interested. I can sell you the HU with the wiring harness already setup to plug right into your factory wiring.

I like Eclipse. I still have my first one a 5302& it works good. I have a 55040 in my truck. It sounds good enough to win a few sound quality events.

I love my Sony headunit. It has a very high signal to noise ratio, impossible to skip, seperate bass & subwoofer adjustments, a 7-band equalizer with presets and custom settings.

Contrary to popular belief, this is my 3rd Sony in a row, and I still haven't had one fail one me.

What a coincidence! I had three Sonys in a row fail on me...

Then I went to Kenwood, and haven't turned back. Just picked me up a KDC-MVP8025 for way cheap. See my thread elsewhere.
