| | Sorry, Denny, let me clarify a bit. I am an installer (mobile audio and video, blah, blah, blah). Everytime we get a newer Dodge to put HIDs on them we have to wire them to the parking lights. I need to find out how to fool the electronics into thinking there is a regular bulb plugged in so that the headlight wires (low beam and high beam) will function normally. If u remove the bulbs and try to connect something, u lose the 12 volt signal for the headlight, but if u leave the bulb in, it works fine. BUT, we cant install some HIDs and just leave the OEM bulb hangin behind the light. I have not been able to figure this out, figured some of the Dodge owners might have. I wasnt sure of the exact year of the Rams, but at the time, I had an 04 and 06 at the shop so I knew for sure those years, thats y I said 04 and up. I apologize, should wrote all this earlier. | |
