Hmm...that 12" is a single VC, isn't it?

Looking to run a single, large, hair shaking sub. I have custom built a downfiring sub box with about 1 sq ft of airspace. I know, it's hurting my JL12W3...and I think that sub's getting a little long in the tooth.

Do you have any components too?

what 12" sub are you talking about. i dont think i have any components laying around, but ill check. if i dont have any, i could get some. any brand you are looking at specifically? sounds like you are looking for something like the Kicker Solo X. i bought it from my buddy blown up, then i just put a brand new SPAIR in it, and have never ran it now, because i was gonna run 2 12" solo x, but now i decided to run 1 18" solo x. the nice thing about the solo x is that if you blow them up you buy a new SPAIR (cone/surround) take out the bolts holding it down drop in new SPAIR and your all set up with new sub.

I was looking at:

MTX 12" 7500, T7512-04, 400 RMS-ce 150

I just need a single 12" that will thump harder than my JL 12W3 V2.

As for the components, nothing brand specific...need to fit it in the front doors of a Superduty. I think the mid's need to be 5.25" to fit...but I could possibly cut to fit in the 6.5"...

i believe i have a set of used diamond audio components laying around, otherwise i can get you, kicker, jbl, mtx, and other larger brand components very fast.

ya that 12" 7500 will hit damn hard, and is a nice sub for the money. definitely gonna be louder than the 12w3.

I'll scrape some cashola together for ya.

Is that Kicker a 4 ohm speaker? can I wired a single in (VC's in paralled) to drop it down to a 2 ohm?
