Was trying the orange theme inside of the truck. Started with the cheepest part. The aftermarket headunit mounting plate. Tell me what you think. Its not done yet, has three coats of testors Competition Orange and one coat of clear so far. The plastic was wet and dry sanded smooth. I just hope its not too much. It might work with some other pieces painted, I dont know.

Well I figured I would go with the cheepest part in the dash that way if it looks like junk I can just get a can of black Krylon and start over.

Well its installed. I had to rush the job because it started to rain and the stall space I was using had to be returned to the rightfull owner. So the part was almost dry but I ended up with a few hand and finger prints. Oh the orange will work because not only is it broken up by the radio but my scanner also has an orange display and back lit buttons.

I will tell you this, taping up that hole was a pain in the . It took tape and some newspaper rolled up to keep the extra spray out of it. I will have to pull it out for a final coat of clear to get rid of the prints I left, but no biggie. I am thinking of painting the fins inside the vents and maybe a few knobs.

that came out cool. Yeah orange is one of those colors you gotta be careful with. Unless the exterior is orange and you carry that theme to the inside it could be overkill.

Well Jesse's Bars are getting some of the color on them, I think the seat recliner handles, the lumbar control knobs, the metal console (until I build a better enclosed one). The inside of the air vents, the little fins, they will get painted. Then some orange accents under the hood to include wire loom and maybe some plastic stuff will get painted.

I have always been afraid to paint any inside pieces. I dont know, i never knew what color to pick. I think yours looks good, i give kudos to anyone who makes the attempt.
