We don't have any family in this area, so we're spending a few days at the condo/weekend place and just relaxing. We went to Detroit for Thanksgiving and got our yearly dose of family gatherings then.

I've gotta do some (all) shopping for the wife this week before then. Too much stuff to catch up on...

Tell me about it. I need to complete all my shopping. I think some people are going to get some really late gifts as I dont have the cash flow right now. Got to wait for tax return to come in.

we'll be doing the regular Christmas / Winter tour / visiting fam & friends... stops in Pittsburgh, Findlay, OH, Ann Arbor, MI, though we may have to cut the Ne Jersey / New York leg this year since we won't be hitting the road until Christmas Day and need to be back home by New Years Day

Staying around the house mostly... We'll be going out to dinner with my folks Christmas eve, and then to one of my brothers house for Christmas day. The whole famn damily lives close, so we'l be seeing everyone Christmas day.

After this coming Friday I will be off for 16 days, so I intend to get some woodworking projects done. I need to build some new cabinets for our hall bathrooms, and something for the truck.

Stayin' home here! Too new to the job to actually have any accrued time off anyway.

I'm hoping that in amongst all the family get togethers I'll have time to install the Ipod interface in the Toyota (can't wait for that!). That'll be a nice addition to the 360-watt 12-speaker JBL system.

Oh yeah - and I'm planning on eating waaaaaayyyy too much!

It's gonna' be a strange one for us this year. Just me and the Wife for Christmas.

Both of my kids were here for Thanksgiving. But my son is going to his girlfriends mother's house and my daughter is going to her in-laws for Christmas.

First time ever having Christmas without at least one of the kids being here. Weird.

Christmas Eve we are going out to Dinner here with Sam's dad and Sister.

Christmas Day we are having them, plus a bunch of other family to my Dad's for dinner. I havn't really even started shopping - I am a last minute type of person. Going away for work and then having to finish school last week kinda set me back.

At least I dont have to worry about school work anymore - I can almost call myself a college graduate!!! AAS in Criminal Justice.

Leanna's mom is coming over on Thursdeeeee, so we'll be putting her to work painting stuff (she's an artist, don't worry). But I'm with Tom and Herr Doktor Speed, but I'll be starting my new job Thursdeeee, so I have zero time off as well. Story of my life.

But its all about family this weekend.

One of the partners suggested that I do some work that needs to be done when no one else is there. At tripple time I may go in from midnight to midnight.

Heading to the Mother in Laws on Saturday for the Holidays then returning home on the 26th. I'm off until the 8th or 9th.

My Dad's retirement party is on the 7th, so we will see if I go back to work on the 8th. It will depend on howmuch family togetherness I can take.

My Dad is retiring for the 2nd time, he figures at 81 he has worked long enough.
