Okay, well this is somewhat related to brakes but only in a basic way. I recently got my brake lights smoked and i think they are a little dark.

Does anyone know where I can get some high intensite brake lights for it?

those are cool, but they are replacement lenses, which would get rid of the smoked ones I have.

Call or e-mail Denny. He can set you up with the knowledge to add LED to your existing light housing. He is the Master when it comes to auto wiring.

Mike, I don't know what kind of bulbs the '07 Stangs use for tail lights but this site (http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/led/led.htm) a wide variety of LED bulb replacement units. The challenge might be in getting them in through the hole in the back of the lens. You might luck out - but then again you might be faced with having to separate the lens from the backing...

Hope this helps some.

mike, also consider just buffing them down, or have a shop wetsand them down. that is what I had to havw done on my old expedition, when the lenses were done too dark.

Terry - I don't know if I'm the authority on LEDs, but I have spent some time playing with them. I've almost gotten every incandescent bulb out of my truck now...

Mike - I'd have to take a look at the back end of the tail lamp housing to see if there's a way to mold in some 2"x6" LEDs into the housing. If it'll fit, that would kick ass.

And what Greg said...perhaps sanding them down some would work...or you can get the ones from Saleen...

Take a picture of the backside of the housing, and put in a tape measure for reference...perhaps there is something I can do for you...

and if you use the sequential blinkers, with LEDs...oooohhh...i'm drooling right now...
