Evap core sprung a leak. Had to replace. It's too damn hot down here to not have AC. Horsetrading a guy across street from where I work to do the work. He's a great mechanic, but mostly works on imports. From the looks of it, I'm glad I didn't attempt to do it myself.

Just went through that on the '00 Expy. You don't want to know how much I paid to have that fixed... (it is a big number). My compressor was leaking too, so we couldn't keep refridgerant in the system.

But, we were having a heat wave, and headed to Phoenix, and those places REQUIRE A/C too, so I know how you feel!

Got it back today and It's blowing Ice Cold.

Nope I don't usually clean under the dash. You don't really see it much down there, it's all covered up.
