Is it possible to put 2004+ stock F-150 wheels onto a 92-96 f-150 Pre? I really like the look of the stock wheels and I want them on my truck!!! Is there such a way to accomplish this? I believe the lug pattern and size are different as well. I would DIE to put those wheels on the truck!!!! Thanks for the help!! (if any)

It is possible, but not the safest thing out there.Especially if you do any real off-roading. your new '04 is a 6-135 bolt circle with a higher offset (which means that more of the wheel is under the truck) and the older F150 is 5-135 with a lower offset. G o to a good tire and wheel store and ask for a billet adapter to go from 6-135 to 5-135 and they should know what you want.

True about the 96 and older being 5x5.5 thanks! Either way I wouldn't recommend it

In all honesty, you can put whatever wheels you want on there, it only takes $$$$

Have you checked the offsets? A set of quality adapters may be a possible consideration, and if anything a custom fab shop can weld in the 6-holes, and make it a 5x5.5

I know guys who have been running off-set adapters on their trucks for years with no issues at all...

I also know a guy who watched one of his 24" Foose wheels pass him on I-95 as he struggled to control his truck after all five of his front driver side lugs snapped

the 04 up trucks are 6x135
the 97 to 03 are 5x135
and the pre's are 5x5.5
The only way you would even have a shot at doing it is a custom made adaptor or having the wheels redrilled. BD
