| I am running all Alpine electronics but do have a Stealthbox under my rear seat. I absolutely love it. The sound is fantastic for only being two 8" subs. Top Rate stuff.

| i am pretty curious about alpine's PLT-5 system. they are licensed from scanspeak/VIFA, alpine's european affiliate (they also make my type X components).
seems like very well thought out technology with quality and fitment in mind, i dont think youd be disappointed | |

| | I love it, no group delay like other dual sub systems and the LAT Linear Array technology sounds way tighter than any sub I have ever run in the past. I am telling you I also never really ran Alpine Amps until now, bu the new PDX amps, which is built into this thing is great. The problem I ran into was that the sales guy I talked to said it was okay, but he had never run it in a truck. I read several reviews at Crutchfield everybody loves it. When I heard it at the store the first time in teh demo room it was just okay, then I asked if i could try it n my truck and it kicked ass! | |

| | The PLT-5 & 7 LAT are powered, but really expensive, too much for me, but I'd love to hear them tho. | |

| | I have 2 Alpine type S's 10" under the backseat and they hit great love them and would highly recomend Alpine to anyone. I've been thinking about going to the Type R's, has anybody herd these? How do they hit if yall have? Read many reviews and a lot of people give them 5 out of 5, also got the 9856 Alpine headunit. | |
