Ok so i spent a butt load of money on a customecover for the truck last year. No big deal the cover is extremely nice and is custom fit to my truck. So i decide about two weeks ago that i need some attaching points for bungee cords due to me living in a windy city and i need to secure the cover better. So i call Ca. car cover Co. and ask them if they can send me about 6 of their antenna grommets so i can make the attaching points myself. No problem they say give us you name and addy. So i do and ask how they would like me to pay and the reply is no charge. I said what about shipping No charge. Cool. So the parts arrive and i begin to install them and in the process am using a soldering iron to burn the holes in the cover so i get no fraying. So i get to the last hole and OOPPPPSSSSS I dropped the dam soldering iron. It touches the cover for not even a nano second and burns a huge freaking hole in it. Needless to say i am not happy.

So i call CCCCo. and tell them what happen and that i would also like to have the grommet reinforced like the lock area is. And ask if they can take care of this for me. No problem is their reply let's get you a RMA# and you can send it to us. So i ask them how much they are going to charge for this and the reply once again is NO CHARGE! I said wait a minute i burnt a whole in my cover and am asking you to also reinforce 6 spot for bungee cords and your telling me this is going to cost me nothing. The reply is Yes Sir. So I just had to post about their great customer service this company has. Now this was about two and half weeks ago. So i just got an email with a tracking number telling me the cover is already fixed and on it way back to me..

Anyway just wanted to pass along a company name with great Customer Service.

Richard

That's great to hear that there's still companies in the US that have great customer service.

Tek, if you want to sell it email me with price. I have a screw like your previous HD.

I havnt dealt with their customer service, but their products are damn nice. They arent cheap (I think mine was a little under $500), but they do make a good product. Mine has a few small scratch/tears in it, but I cant complain for 3 years of use outside. The black is also a little faded in areas, but Im probably the only person who would notice it.

The only bad thing is that I really dont use the cover any more, now that my truck is garaged, I dont have much use for it.

Always good to hear when a company helps you out like that. To me customer service is everything. They make great covers, but unfortunately my truck never sits still long enough for me to justify the cost and the hassle of putting a cover on it.

When i asked why they were not going to charge me she said becasue you purchased our product. And i said Yes i did but i am asking you to do things to it that you normally would not. And she replied well we would have done it when you ordered the cover if you had asked us to at no charge. So i left it at that.

Richard - come on - at this point I'm thinking the aftermarket world knows you by name and CA Car Cover would rather avoid the ass pain than to tell you no.

I've been looking for a covor for my rig. Can they make it Camo so it'll blend it with my surroundings? Like "stealth mode" for my truck...

I wonder how custom they can get with my bumpers and all...hmmm...

If you send them measurements and detailed pictures they can make it to fit over the bumpers. They made mine to fit over the winch and brush guard etc. They will also make it longer for lifted trucks which they also did for me.

Ok little update. Got the cover back yesterday and they did and outstanding job with the reinforcement area. And the patch job was very nice as well. I was not sure how they were going to fix it. They put a very large patch over the burn area and then a thick backing piece like the reinforcement area's. Great job on both things.
