I just want to say thanks to chris for adding this forum.
I take a personal interest in seeing our members get care packages from fellow truck lovers.

If you want to send something to them I have a list of current addresses all over the world including Iraq.

Just email me and Ill be happy to send them to you.

They like truck mags of course. Jerky, peanut butter which they cant get there. granola bars, cookies home made, sunflower seeds, pistacios, mixed nuts, hot sticks (beef), local newspaper items. Anything from their home town or home USA in general.

Dont send chocolate as it melts of course.

I send out 17 boxes every two months and they respond so happily.
Send them a letter too they love hearing from you.

So dont be shy email me for those addresses and dont share them with anyone you dont know.

Check out the latest parts and accessories from Truck Hownd

Your welcome. If anyone else would like to send something I know our men overseas would very much enjoy hearing from home. You dont have to send a lot. One truck magazine and your time to write a letter about whats going on in your life and around your town means so much to them.

They spend 16 hours every day keeping you free in an unfriendly invironment. Take one hour one day and make their day.

Email me for the Addresses.

It's great that you're doing this!

It always makes ME feel good to be able to do something so simple that gives deployed members a little something from Home. It's no comparison to what they're doing for us. So, if any of you are reading... thank you, and keep an eye out for those boxes!

This is a great forum ya'll and we definatly apprieciate everything you do for us while we are overseas. I actually get to go home for Christmas this year, but we have alot of airmen that will be stuck here for the holidays. Even though we are not in a combat zone, we support the operation here everyday. If anyone is intrested in working on some Christmas packages for the Airmen here, just let me know. We rarely have options when we need things like soap, shampoo, reading material, foods (oatmeal, peanut butter, tuna fish, etc.), and even personal hygeine products. Again, we apprieciate all the support ya'll give us.

Lynn, thanks for all you do. Much appreciated by the active duty folks, and us who have committed many years and since retired. I'm still embedded with my old unit and watch our guys turn and burn every 6 months. There commitment is second to none.

Trish, what do you do in the AF?

I am in Command and Control. I mostly do heavy aircraft ground control and I make sure the aircrews have everything they need to complete their mission, from toilet paper to jet fuel. I enjoy it and I can go anywhere in the world.

My friend's husband is in Afghanistan and is leeping an internet blog on my space. It's a long read, but lets you know what some of our brave soldiers are going through.
